gcj-powerpc-linux-gnuspe software package provides GNU Java compiler (based on GCC) for the powerpcspe architecture, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gcj-powerpc-linux-gnuspe
gcj-powerpc-linux-gnuspe is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gcj-powerpc-linux-gnuspe package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gcj-powerpc-linux-gnuspe *
